Dr Joanna Koronkiewicz studied both law at the University of Warsaw and business economics at the Warsaw School of Economics. She received her doctorate in law in 2014 and was honored in 2016 as a “Rising Star – Lawyers. Leaders of Tomorrow” award in Poland. Before being admitted in Germany, she worked for 15 years both as a Polish tax advisor and as a lawyer, advising multinational corporations as well as medium-sized clients from various industries, and also participating in tax tech, legal-tech and risk management projects. She completed her LL.M. with a focus on German IP law at HU Berlin in 2022.
Dr Koronkiewicz’s focuses primarily on competition law, trademark law, copyright law and film law. She advises her clients in German, English and Polish.
She is married and the mother of three children; knows almost everything about professional tennis of the last two decades, is interested in stories with an immigrant background and enjoys the diversity of Berlin.
Dr Norman Dauskardt studied law at Humboldt University in Berlin, has been a practicing lawyer since 2010, and is a founding partner of the firm. Since 2013, he has also held the title “Specialist lawyer for intellectual property law”. In 2016, he earned his doctorate with the highest distinction “summa cum laude” on a trademark-related topic at the University of Würzburg. Dr. Dauskardt specializes primarily in trademark law and competition law. He also has in-depth experience in setting up online portals, particularly in drafting general terms and conditions and contracts. He advises his clients in both German and English.
Dr Dauskardt is the father of a son, a passionate runner and composes electronic music.
Vera Puhlmann studied law at the FU Berlin. Before being admitted to the bar in 2013, she worked for media companies in Cologne, Potsdam and Berlin. In 2018, she completed the preparatory course for the notarial specialist examination. Vera Puhlmann advises clients on corporate law, particularly in contentious matters. She supplemented her knowledge in 2021 with a course to become a specialist lawyer in commercial and corporate law. She advises her clients in German and English.
Vera Puhlmann plays bass guitar, enjoys walks in the woods and Berlin’s literary stages.
Anja Heller-Rehberg studied law at the University of Greifswald. After being admitted to the bar in 2007, she specialized in copyright and media law and worked in this field for a long time. She then changed her perspective: she worked as an in-house lawyer in a start-up and studied psychology for a few semesters at the same time. Today, she particularly enjoys working in competition law, copyright and trademark law, especially in contentious proceedings. She advises her clients in German and English.
Anja Heller-Rehberg is married and in her free time she enjoys spending precious time with her husband, preferably in nature; she also likes fitness boxing and practicing Qi Gong.
Tobias Bystry studied law at the University of Constance, where he graduated at the top student of his class. After completing his legal clerkship in Berlin and achieving another outstanding exam result, he co-founded the law firm ab&d Rechtsanwälte together with Dr. Norman Dauskardt. In 2014, he completed the preparatory course for the notarial specialist examination and and in 2018, he further specialized in corporate law by successfully completing the course to become a specialist lawyer in commercial and corporate law. Particularly GmbHs rely on his expertise in all matters of corporate law and in drafting B2B contracts. He mainly advises SMEs, freelancers, start-ups, managing directors and shareholders. He advises both in German and English.
Tobias Bystry is married and has two sons. He enjoys spending his free time with his family and his VW Bulli “Felix”.
